today title bar

hi there

I have just purchased the mda vario, I installed the GRPS monitor tool that came with it
However it has an icon on the task bar but it blocks all other icons like missed calls, txts etc, I try to uninstall it but the icon is still there,
Do you know how I can either uninstall the app, or remove the icon?
