Qtek 9100 (1st Generation) Invalid Vender Error -> Lockiw

I thought QTEK 9100 of the 1st generation were all unlocked???

I've been using a test rom for a few months running aku 2.

Today I tried to upgrade to 2.26 Tmobile and couldn't "Vender ID" error.

Does that mean I should try to use lockiwiz to unlock my phone or do I risk damaging it or ... what should I do?

FYI for those who have the same problem I had (and now fixed).

CID unlocking gave me false success results under my 2.08 ROM and I still couldnt upgrade to 2.26.

So I downgraded to : CUSTOM__RUU_Wizard_1050412_WWE_101_11210_WWE.exe

And then used : Lokiwiz02b

It was a success (for real this time) and I was able to upgrade to 2.26 which works great.

Excellent advice! I'm glad you found a solution. I have a 1st gen KJAM and experienced the same error. I will downgrade to the 1.01 WWE firmware from IMATE and then try Lokiwiz. thanks!

you are so lucky to have 2.08
I have SPL 2.21.0001 and cannot use that downgrade ROM
waiting for the new ver lokiwiz is the only thing so far I can do...
