Eten Dialer & Pictures & Video Issue Can This Be Fix

i have the 8125 with the Eten Dialer w smart dial, i have ready as well as experienced the Pictures & video issue. basically the pictures and video comes up but there are no thumbnails visible, this is becoming a huge PITA. can somebody please address this Pauly A?? someone? any help, suggestions are greatly appreciated

I discovered the same problem today after a hard reset of my 8125 and then installing my apps one by one until I found what was causing it. I've had zero luck finding a solution for this. Shame too because the dialer with smart dial was awesome.

I had the same problem. Renaming the mfc80u.dll file in the Windows folder to mfc80uu.dll solved the problem! I hope it works for you as well!

i had the same prblem too. but now i use the eten vista dialer. that that eten dialer with smartdial is a piece of shit. i hate smart dial. its worthless to me. :lol: . but anyways i use the vista one without the smart dial and it works perfect. no problems at all :D

Have you tried renaming the mfc80u.dll file in Windows directory? :?

I've tried using Total Commander to change the name (the name showing for my .dll is MFC80U.DLL_ , so I don't know if the underscore at the end of the name is an issue or not) but I can't seem to get the name change to stick. Any pointers on getting the name change to save?

I had both files: mfc80u.dll and MFC80u.dll_.

The one with the underscore will not change but I changed the other and after a soft reset the thumbnails work.

I just installed risidoro's 2.26 rom which has the Eten Dialer skin, does this support video? If so how do i add videos to contacts? with the contacts manager on the phone or outlook on my pc?
