I have currently the orange SPV m2000 PDA and I'm looking to update the rom so that it has normal software settings without any of the orange settings. Can anyone point me in the right direction of where to download the rom with some instructions on how to do this please? My main aim is to use it with a GPS cradle that currently has issues with the orange settings that cause a conflict. I have been advised by the manifacturer (GlobalSat) that once I reset or update rom to non-orange settings this will work. Thanks in advance to anyone who comes up with the solution im looking for. Pascal :D

If you give hard reset, wait till screen calibration is done and press soft reset while device is installing. That's how I've got mine TMO free.

that is a way of doing it.
BUT
it will also not install the Fixes, MMS setting, and additional sofware etc, etc, not associated with Orange.
You best bet is to Cook the Ext_Rom yourself, and take away the Orange Install .CAB.

How do I cook the Ext_Rom myself?, and take away the Orange Install .CAB? or is there a new rom I can use to go over this current one?
many thanks for your time and experience.:)

How much do you know about the Blue Angel and its software & programs etc etc.
Do you know who to unlock the Extended Rom?
