Signal Recovery with New 2.26 ROM...

i have rom version 2.17.7.2 from original hack rom. i experience long recovery times whenever i lose signal (i lose all signal in my house...i know...a bummer) and my question is will this new rom help with recovery times whenever i lose the signal???

is there any advantage to go to new rom at this point? my MDA works very well except that when i bought the data plan, EDGE did not work too well as advertised. i live in houston texas so i know the entire city EDGE capable...

anyone out there who knows...tell me...

the new 2.26 rom recovers fast from signal drops. it takes about 10 seconds or so for it to recover signal. that is why i am sticking with this rom for a long time! :D

By the OEM's Specifications (HTC) it is designed to scan for a network every 45 seconds.
