pls advise how to update ROM on subject SIM-locked for sprint or Verizon.

Their is no SIM-lock on Sprint & Verizon 6700 as they are CDMA. If you are refering to the MSL which will let you program the phone. Verizon phones are 000000, and Sprint phones are all unique. You would have to call Sprint to get it, and if you are not a customer good luck. :)
