I reported here of a problem last week with the TyTn stalling using 3g to surf web pages, sometimes for 60 seconds stuck on locating. I upgraded my account to web n walk pro and everything was great until today. I have had no connection all night and now i do the problem has returned stuck on locating.
Anyone else have this problem, is the web n walk too good to be true

Hi, I posted a few times in that other post of yours about this issue, in the end a lot of people were having the same trouble on tytn and Universal devices, so I decided to contact t-mobile.
Today (Wednesday 9th Aug) they sent this reply...
Sorry to hear you have experienced difficulty in using the GPRS service, The service its self was going through a software upgrade and has now been resolved, If you preform a soft reset on the device a re try the issue should be resolved,
If you still are experiencing the issue tomorrow then please try your SIM in different device and then reply to this email with the result
Hope this information helps
Dave
T-Mobile
If you are still having trouble with your devices on Thursday 10th I suggest you contact T-Mobile.

I had the same problem on the Wizard on TMobile, although the problem started maybe 3 weeks ago and culminated yesterday when I could not access web pages and emails. The connection was established though, although it got stuck forever on the "locating" status.
I thought I would upgrade to the 2.26 rom, which I did last night and since then everything works fine and the gprs is fast (probably faster than it used to be, although I have not looked at the connection speed using Spb GPRS).

I've been using my TyTn with WnW for a couple of weeks without seeing this issue. Last night I was using it while driving (not me driving the wife was!) for over an hour and it was happily switching between GPRS and 3G. It locked up once, but clicking refresh sorted it.
