I'm in trouble with my Hermes (HTC TyTN, unbranded, Italian ROM) as the phone application seems not supporting the operator codes like *123# or similar.
My operator uses some of these interrogation codes to reply useful info like amount of monthly available minutes or megabytes... All the previous HTC phone app is supporting these, it seems very strange... Any idea about how sending these codes to the network on the Hermes?

WTF!?!
I will urgently need those codes to switch priority between my 3 O2 Multicards.

my operator (Cingular) uses these codes (like *646# to check minutes used/remaining) and they work fine on my TyTN

it works fine using the xda trion sold by o2 germany. i can even use the gsm codes needed for the wind prepaid card (for checking accounts balance).

This was somthing I didn't test when I upgraded my ROM from the German one to the Dopod english version. Anyway I gave it a try and I dont have any problems with my Trion. And I have updated my device with the Dopod ROM. All multicard functions with o2 work fine. The only thing that could be different with my device was that I did run some of the o2 German extended rom installations onto my device.

All network codes work fine with my German HTC TyTN. Just tested it with my new multicard USIMs.

Just solved - changing my old 32K SIM (Wind Italy) with a new SIM, all network codes are now working perfectly on my TyTn...
