The registry hack only unhides but doesn't unlock, use the HERMES_MountExtROM.CAB (http://forum.xda-developers.com/download.php?id=13545) file for unhiding & unlocking, so you'll be able to write to ExtRom too.

marka2k you say you used it to unlock, how did you do that, i have the tytn the tmobile uk version, and need to unlock it to any network, how can i do that with these files, if you can enlighten me and many others, please do so,

This is for Extended ROM Unlocking, not for remove the SIMLock or network lock.

2 days back I unlocked my SPV M3100 (tytn) using online service. It was easy & worked smoothly.

I have all the necessary files & unlocker tool, but they are imei specific.

may be some developer like buzz & team that unlocked universal find it useful.

To mount and unlock ExtROM you can use also ficat Hermes Tweaker........ it works very well, it applies also many other tweaks like Phone Delay Disable, Phone Skins Disable, HSDPA capabilities, etc.....

I have a problem, after i unlock and unhide my extended ROM, i was able to read/write on my extended ROm, until I installed different program on Ext-ROM.
One of these programs is Resco File Explorer. All working fine, but after I try to empty my Recycle Bin, extended ROM disappered. After a soft reset extended ROM was unhide, but I cannot write/delete any folder or file fron that disk. Any solution to unlock my extended ROM?

I have install the i-mate 1.31.305.103
I have install Fit4cat Hermes tweaker and i Have select to mount and Unlock the extRom.
but when i try copy or delete a file from to extrom i recive a message that tells me that the Folder is protected.
How can i do for put my old extRom to place of the new one?

If you still have the same question after reading it, read it again more carefully.

Sorry Pof i have find the problem:
NOTE: In the latest ROM versions (Cingular 1.3x for example) it is not possible to unlock the ExtROM, only to unhide it. All the hacks in this page use the same registry key to unlock it, so if you cannot unlock it using one hack you'll not be able to unlock it wiht the others. Please do NOT flood the forums with questions if you cannot unlock it, we don't know a way of unlocking it other than this, and WHEN we know it, we will post it here.
