How to get a "handsfree" BT-profile on my Blue Ang

Hello to all,

seems that the BA has only a "headset" BT - profile. To connect to my Ford built-in carkit I'd need a "handsfree" profile.

Who can help ?

I'm pimping an iMate PDA2k running 1.40.00_WWE and I have High Quality Audio Setup, Handsfree/Headset Setup, Activesync, Browser FIles on remote Device, Connect to a Network, Join a personal network, exchange biz cards, explore a bt device and connect a keyboard.

What version are you running?

Maybe you aren't looking in the correct place? I am not too framaliar with the different builds, but for mine I click on the BT icon on the bottom of the screen, click on bt manager, then new. that is where all those options are!

What do you mean with:

1.40.00_WWE ???

That is the specific version of software I am running on the phone.

When you do a soft rest it should list a few numbers on the boot screen. The version being one of them.

What phone do you have?
