The Vario II (Tytn) takes Micro SD (Transflash), I think the figures you have quoted above are for Mini SD which is a different type of card.

Well, I ordered and received my 2G Sandisk from DealOne, I believe. Paid $129 US. I know, I know definitely on the high end. But order shipped/received promptly. My problem is that I inserted it into my Cingular 8525, it recognizes it properly, etc. But when I tried to use the SD adapter with it on Win XP Pro, it says the filesystem is not supported or some kind of error like that. As I didn't have much information on it, I decided to try and format it via Win XP Pro, and both the QuickFormat and standard format were unsuccessful. Any Ideas? BTW, cannot even open up via Win Explorer to drag/drop transfer anything to it. Have to use ActiveSync via USB to transfer to card while inserted into phone.

In the end I only went for the UltraII as I figured 2Gb would be enough for now. I can't compare speeds but I can say that it's working fine. My reasoning was that if I change to a Vario 4 next year and it uses picoSD cards instead, at least I'll have a fast 2Gb SD card for my digicam ;-)
