I have a Hermes 100, that I believe is exactly like the Orange m3100 that I have tried to flash with both roms and it is now stuck in boot loader mode until I figure out how to get a rom flashed to it. No OS.

I have another one that is also a Hermes 100, the same, that flashed fine with the CHT9000 ROM.

*shrug* Not sure what's up. But I know what's down....one of my Hermes 100's!!!

If it's a production model you should be able to flash from the boot loader. If you have tried the method described in the wiki (run the RUU two times, without disconecting the device) and that fails, you can try using the MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe and report if this method works for you.

BUT if it is a preproduction model (the one with 300Mhz processor) then most probably the rom upgrade will fail and you'll need to wait until sombody finds a solution for flashing those units.

The preproduction unit has a 300 MHz processor, without the final button layout and slight different color.

EDIT: See both units here:
