Here's a tutorial on how to replace the poor headphones on the headset for a 3.5mm inline socket. The tutorial is actually for the Hermes but it's exactly the same for the Strtrk.

This guy will do it for $19.95. I think he's confused about the adapter; it's only for the Hermes; I haven't seen one for the Strtrk. He also tells you how to do it, if you want to do it yourself.
