XDA Mini S power button puts handset into silent mode!

As the title says really. My mate and i both own an XDA mini S but hes having a problem whereby the handset goes into silent mode when pressing the power button to standby. He's tried to reset the phone via the clear storage option but this hasnt solved it. Anyone got any ideas as to what to try next?

if u r talking about Bluetooth handset, then this is a problem on all wizards - and perhaps all WM5 devices, when the device in sleep mode, bluetooth is off, u cant even recv data via bluetooth, that is a very annoying problem.

Any ideas???
