Carrierlogo.gif in your \Windows\ directory.
Or if you want one that looks nice and not shitty like the stock one, I took the stock one and made the background transparent:

is that the stock Cingular dialer or a custome one? Looks slick...

That's the E-TEN dialer that can also be found in this forum with the Black Glass skin from another forum member. I use it as well and it's awesome.

GldRush98: Thanks for the image...that transparent background makes all the difference.

I use the Eten dialer too. I didn't even realize I was bugged by the old logo, until I put the invisible background logo. Thanks GldRush98, for sharing!!

Tref,

I just right clicked on the gif image GldRush98 has at the bottom of his post and did a "save picture as" from my browser.

Installed it on my 8125 and it worked perfectly.

Hope this helps.

Yep, I finally figured that out too, but thank you. I copied it down but I guess because I'm not using the stock dialer skin all I see is the Cingular logo. But that's ok as it looks cool with a black background, and I can still see that Cingular is my carrier. ;o)

hey guys/gals;
If you're using an after-market dialer with a darker background, I changed the gif files pallete so that the cingular text is a light grey. For some reason I couldn't use straight white. When I tried to it made the text completely vanish, so I had to use something off-white:

(remember to rename it to just "Carrierlogo.gif". I had to put the 2 on there because it's in the same folder on my server as the first one here with the transparent background.

Much easier to see on a dialer with dark colors... see:

Only sort of down side is it's harder to see on the incoming call box... but honestly... you don't see that box for very long. Long enough to see who is calling and answer or ignore it :lol: :wink:

Thank you. I've downloaded your new one too but to be honest I like the fact that all I see on the dialer is the Cingular logo. Less clutter, cleaner look :)
