View Full Version : [BigStorage] upgrade with other OS language

Hi there,

I was observing for quite a while all these post regards bigstorage, but in nowhere I've found this scenario: if I upgrade my pda with bigstorage with the downloadable premade bigstorage wwe roms, can I upgrade the OS section only (to ITA) without messing around with hexeditors etc..?? I'm too scared at the idea of bricking my s100.. :oops:

I doubt it. I don't think trying it will brick your Magician, but it probably wouldn't keep the BigStorage enhancement either. It would be much safer though to just download a full normal ITA rom and hack it to BigStorage - though it will take more time, but if you follow the instructions then its nearly impossible to brick your Magician! If you read any guide (I'll promote my own one (http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=59084) now :P) then you'll find that the hexediting is in fact a very small part of the entire process, and pretty straightforward too.
