Hi all,

I went by suggestion and reviews from xda-dev users and gave WEBIS' Flexmail a try. I hated it. I have more reason to hate it now. It broke my messaging.

It seems that when you install it it overwrites the standard TMail.exe file and links into it. When I uninstalled it, it didn't uninstall correctly, first off, and second it didn't restore my inbox back to normal. I'm not worried about the messages I potentially lost, but now I have no mail client.

I'm not sure if just replacing the tmail.exe file is going to be enough. can someone post the tmail.exe from their windows directory. I am using Summiter's latest rom (yes the one installed with the multi-installer)

Thanks ahead of time.

SOLVED:

I fixed it guys...

Aparently (the reason I tried this) the Orig tmail.exe file was in ROM. When it was replaced by the tmail.exe file that Flexmail installed just "covered" it. I had to use Resco File Explorer to change the "System" attribute on the file but then removed the file, soft reset and low and behold I have my normal mail application back.

I still can't use more than 5 POP accounts though..... Oh well.

I still have the Icons for Flexmail as the icons for the messaging app. anyone know where the icon is stored for the default messaging app, and how to change it back?
