HELP! O2 XDA Mini - screen not turning on

Help! I downloaded Phonealarm from the net onto my xda mini s. after it installed on my xda it said to do a soft reset. now the screen stays off while the phone is on. i can recieve calls as normal but i cant use my phone in any other way as i cant see!

I've used Phone alarm for a while and didn't had that problem. Are you sure it is not your backlight? I've fooled myself once or twice by turning the backlight off by accident, the hardware button that is. Press and holding the power button turns off and on your backlight while the display is still working. If otherwise then disregard this silly remark:).

So its the screen totally switched off or the backlight? What happens if you sof-reset? if suppose you could see the splash screen, then it maybe like some software is causing the issue. Try connecting to active sync & remove any unwanted program from startup folder or you can even un-instsall from active sync.
