MMS Unread indicator problems

My MDA unread msg indicator shows 2 unread MMS msg in the inbox when none exist. I have tried the clear. No luck. I have the latest T-Mobile USA rom. I would prefer not to do a hard reset. Is there a file I can delete so it will rebuild the index and clear it? Any ideas?

I had this same annoying problem. Downloaded this .exe file to my Dash wm6.1 and ran it. Fixed in 2 seconds!!!
