Invalid vendor warning while flashing rom

I have a Orange SPV M3100 unlocked using imei-check. I flashed the phone with the Dopod rom recently without a hitch but wanted to try the I-Mate rom.

However upon flashing I get the warning 'Invalid vendor' & something like 'this rom is not intended for use on this device'. Then the phone freezes on the white screen.

I thought that my phone was already Unlocked? What do I need to do to get the I mate rom to flash?

There is no problem just run the ROM updater, it will give you the warning and your phone will stick on the white screen?? without disconnecting the phone run the ROM updater again and it should work fine.

Cool thankx for that. I should have looked at the wiki first but was too lazy. I'll have another go after I get home tonight.
