I've been enjoying my TyTN v1605 (HERM200, HT626) for the last three weeks :D but I've have the screen alignment problem. :(

I've followed the discussions but it seems unclear as to what the cause is. If it's software I'm happy to wait for an updated ROM but if it's hardware I'll need to get my unit swapped.

What are peoples thoughts? Do you think is it a Hardware or Software problem? Is it still a problem on newer units?

Thanks,

Bill

Swap the unit out, if you want confirmation, phone HTC UK and they'll tell you the same.

Thanks. A good job I didn't do anything radical to the unit such as removing the Vodafone logo!

i have the screen alignment issu on my Vario2 when i called T-mobile to request a replacementthey confirmed it was a hardware fault that they couldnt do anything about nd are send me a replacement by courier tomorrow morning. By all accoutns it appears that HTC have confirmed it is a hardware issue that a software update wouldnt be able to fix

I called the servicedesk (Belgium ? ) today and the lady told me different.
They have been waiting for an answer from HTC. And got it yesterday.
HTC mailed them how to repair the Tytn (replace parts) and they are not allowed to replace the Tytn's.

So, new policies??

Well, wil wait and see which phone I get back.
