MDA Dead..?!!!

HELP..!!

I bought an MDA Vario on ebay. I tried to unlock it using the lokiwiz tool. I dont have the USB cable, but I did manage to activesync to the phone using IR. I also read that someone managed to unlock over IR.

I ran the Enablerapi.cab file in the phone, which went ok. After I ran lokiwiz.bat, I got the options screen where I entered "U" for unlock.

a little while later, my phone powered off. But it never powered on again. I tried hard resets, soft resets, removed the battery, removed the charger, everything. And it has no sign of life whatsoever.

I called TMobile and they said that since I wasnt a customer they cant help me (I'm from out of town).

Please can anyone help me. I saved up for a lot of time to buy this phone, and am devastated that its dead less than 4 hours after I bought it.

Update.

When I removed the charger from the wall and replugged it in, the red light came on on the phone. But thats it. Battery doesnt seem to charge, soft/hard resets dont work, and it does look (save for the red light) like it wont do anything

Ok, reading through some of the posts I think I can rest a little easier. People say it usually gets back to normal (I need to leave it plugged in)

Two questions now.

1) Whats a normal charge time for the MDA..?
2) When the battery is totally flat (or even removed) is it normal for soft/hard resets/bootloader to not work even though its plugged into the wall socket..?

Well no one replied, I am however posting this here in the case that it may help someone else.

It was the charger. Rated at 800 mAh, it just couldnt charge the battery. I bought a charger from RadioShack which fits the phone, rated at 1.5A. In less than a second it was charging the phone, and now my phone is perfect again.
