I have the cingular 8125 and the plantronics 590a wireless headphones but I can not seem to find the cab file I need to enable A2DP. All I keep finding is ROM upgrades. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you very much. The cab installed fine but I still can not get the phone to play music files over bluetooth. What am I missing here?

128d what ROM are you running? I believe you must have an AKU 2.0 or above ROM for the a2dp hack to work.
Also, did you soft reset your device after the install?
This is the thread that I used to get a2dp working on my Universal and 8125s (Yes I read the whole thing and you should too because nearly every problem is solved)

Don't skip a reply, read the whole thing and all the pages. There's another cab file with the registry settings on one of those middle pages that saved me a lot of time and frustration.

Everytime you want to listen to music you have to go to Bluetooth settings and tap-and-hold where it says Plantronics 590, then choose Stereo headset. Very frustrating and I haven't found a better solution for it. I think the guy behind PhoneAlarm is working on a sollution though.

Unless I've missed something fundamental this must be an issue with the 9100. It seems that it switches between two settings, one for talking and one for music. If you watch a movie you also notice that the audio lags for 2-3 seconds. Obviously this does not happen during conversations.
In one thread on the forum they were discussing creating a little program or applet to activate the headset with just the push of a button. Haven't checked their progress lately though...

interesting.. my ht820 dont switch profiles between music or talking... it still has the notorious skipping problem when playing mp3's.. but that dont bother me, i only got the headset for phone calls.. im going deaf in my young age from to many loud concerts and a phone call in stereo is very helpful to me

Dmon you trick worked. I can now listen to music with my plantronics. The only problem is the buttons on the headset dont function. Have you had any luck with this?

What player are you using? You have to use, as far as I know, WMP or the newest version of Pocket Player (think it's 2.8) if you want to be able to skip songs and pause etc. I use Pocket Player and I think it's the best player around but unfortunately it's not free. The equalizer is a lot better so you can play with the high registry to remove some of the hissing noices.

Installed the cabinet file and it works well in terms of getting the audio to the Jabra BT320S. However, when using the stereo wireless function that it enables, it slows everything else on the phone. Takes 6 to 10 seconds to get the system to recognize any command.
Any suggestions as to what might help speed it up?
My skills are not such that I’m comfortable messing with the ROM (2.25.11.1 WWE)
Thanks for all your work.

Holy thread resurrection, Batman!
Here, try these cabs instead. This is the 3.3 stack. Install the cert. before you install the patch.
