I just recently setup the MMS on my Xda Exec. I live in Toronto and am using Fido so just looked up their settings on the internet and had everything working after alot of trial and error. Here are a few websites that I used, maybe it can help you out. There is one page that has information from carriers all around the world.

[QUOTE=neptune;1018050]I just recently setup the MMS on my Xda Exec. I live in Toronto and am using Fido so just looked up their settings on the internet and had everything working after alot of trial and error. Here are a few websites that I used, maybe it can help you out. There is one page that has information from carriers all around the world.

I have been browsing quite a bit to find all appropriate settings for my XDA Exec to work on Fido in Montreal. I also spoke to customer service; they were kind enough to walk me through basic setup and flip a switch on my account to allow MMS and WAP.

Could you compare your parameters with the following?

Settings/Connections/Advances/Manage Existing Connections
Connection Name: My Connection
Access Point Name: wap.fido.ca
user: fido
password: fido
Domain: 205.151.011.011

Settings/Connections/Advanced/Select Networks/
Programs that automatically connect to the internet should connect using: My ISP
Programs that automatically connect to a private network should connect using: My Work Network

Settings/Connections/Advanced/Select Networks/My MMS
Add Modem named Fido MMS with the following attributes
Access Point Name: mms.fido.ca
user: fido
password: fido
Domain: blank
Proxy settings tab: do not check anything

Settings/Network/GPRS Settings
Authentication: CHAP Authentication
GPRS - Setting: Class 10 (3R2T)

Messaging Settings/MMS
Preferences/OK to Download when Roaming : yes (fido uses also Rogers network now)
Messaging Settings/MMS/Servers
Server name : Fido MMS
Gateway : 205.151.11.13
Port number: 8080
server address: http://mms.fido.ca
connect via: my mms
Sending size limitation: 200K
WAP Version : WAP 2.0

I am getting crazy

Please help!!
