Hi there,

I hope someone can help with either of the following two issues:

Basically, I work in our company's IT dept. We have given all our directors a O2 XDA Mini S device - we have set these up to sync with our Exchange 2003 server - and work well most of the time - HOWEVER: Every now and then, we get one of these two problems:

1. Example scenario: UserA is on a train working through his\her handhelds inbox - they read some and delete some.

When they arrive at the office, and loads up Outlook - they expect to see a mirrored inbox to that of the handheld device.

Unfortunately, not so:

Sometimes - not always, but sometimes the deleted items that she deleted from the device still show up in his\her inbox as UNREAD, and upon further examination they are still sitting in the deleted items on the device - and don't sync back to Exchange.

The only way to "fix" this, is to manually change the Outlook inbox to mirror the handheld - as you can imagine, this is very annoying

2. The second problem we are getting - again randomly, is devices just stop syncing - switching off and on again doesn't fix it and we have to perform a factory reset and re-set them up from scratch for the user.

Are these Windows mobile bugs, or O2 \ XDA \ Qtek 9100 firmware bugs?!

Any ideas - anyone!?

Yeah, I find when I open stuff on the handheld, it doesn't sync back automatically as Sending an email does.

Often if an email hits Exchange, it will then show the old one as New again on the handheld.

I find I just don't delete anything off the handheld and do it all from Outlook...it isn't working like Blackberry does I have found.

No lockup problems though, but if you read the whitepaper in this forum about how push works, it figures out the best time/how often to sync based on your amount of email.
