We all know that Microsoft didn't include an applet for using mp3s as an alarm sound, and that TCPMP is muted when you press the power button on the phone twice (screen goes off and back on). However, there is a way to combine Windows' alarm clock and TCPMP in order to be awoken with your favorite mp3s/ videos/ livestreams, anything that TCPMP can play.

1. Set your Windows alarm
2. Start up TCPMP and begin playing desired wake-up media
(make sure that the option to let TCPMP keep playing in stand-by mode is
set to "off")
3. Press power button on phone to send it into stand by mode
4. When your windows alarm goes off, TCPMP will also continue playing from
the point where you pushed the power button

This should be a bit cheaper than many mp3-wake up programs, and you can use whatever media you want!

I actually tried this and it worked. . . sorta. Awhile after it woke up playing, it caused my whole MDA to freeze. Although, that may not have happened if I turned it off. lol

Well your method seems to be the most stupid. Sorry if it hurts. Anyway, in your case, if the device wakes up for sms/call aparently it starts playing the alarm before time :)

If you guys really want an mp3 file as an alarm, go to memmaid > User notifications, and create a notifiction to run a program at desired time. And choose the p3 file which you want to play at that time and it should start playing. Hope this helps.
