I've been having various problems with my C600 from Orange CH. With this ROM I have been unable to:
- Flash with the Imate, QTEK or even Orange UK ROMs (even after tweaking nbf file with Typhontools)
- I contacted orange and they sent me the app to "Security unlock" my phone. I still connot install several apps (Regedit, SPVservices, etc...) All denied due to certificate issues even though it is supposed to be disabled
- I cannot get Audible player to work nor register any app that needs to interface with the phone's DeviceID.
The only update I can make is to reinstall the Orange CH ROM from their web site (http://www.orange.ch/vrtmobilephones/offers/orangePhones/spvC600?ts=1158878654423)
It seems that with this ROM, the DeviceID is not made available to applications. Even with the so called application unlock officially provided by Orange from my IMEI, I still get error messages about apps not finding the phone's DeviceID.
a) Does anyone know antyhing about wether the DeviceID is blocked/hidden/non-existant on this phone?
b) How can i see for myself what the Device ID is so I can double check?
Any tips greatly appreicated.
