Ivan,

I am still running beta 9. & I reported the record button hold feature missing. Has this been reinstated or are you intending to put this back?

Also I miss voice commander where the commands were easily interpreted

Since installing beta 10 I am unable to connect to my phone service provider. I tried going back to B9, changing radio versions and installing original rom, nothing works. I have upgraded to B10 B11 And B13...still no luck PLEASE someone give me some help. Not sure WTF is wrong...was there some cab files in extened rom that assisted in finding provider networks?

I have reflashed to ealier rom version, changes the radio version even tried to unlock the phone again....nothing works!

Battery Icon is still on top, and its allso on the buton..

Else is everything working fine..
I havent testet BB and Push mail..you can do this hack manually check the wiki for the proper registry lines to change :) you can have it time/time & date/date only IIRC. Tweaks2K2 also has this tweak. That's what I used and it works as far back as beta8 [I think this hack will work on AKU2.2 and above devices].

I upgraded to beta 13 but I still cannot end a call using the external round red button.
Is there a fix for this?
Thanks

Strange i do not have this problem.

I think it's because the phone now boots so fast that the storage card hasn't had a chance to initialize before the program tries to read the icons. In Pocket Plus you can hold down each icon and choose "Change Icon", by this time the storage card will have initialized and the correct icon will be the first choice you're given.

It's a bit of a hassle to do it after every boot but until SPB make a feature to delay icon reading it's all we can do other than installing everything to the device.

I would say that this is A BIG BUG in aku3.2 , how can u call it windows without icons ????

Testing SW ROM AKU3.2 Beta13:
WA2+WAD on JasJar.
- Signal strenght makes system instable. WAD and WA2 switch off one after another when device wakes up. I have noticed that this doesn't happen when radio is off. I also experienced a Soft Reset.
- SMS counter still keeps on canceling in box messages.

Ivan and all who has made this possible, good work!
It has increased the speed of my Uni and every new build brings a little bit better performance :-)

But yesterday i've downloaded PockeTTY from DejaVu and installed the version
2.06 then i start a new telnet session every thinks works fine but if the Terminal is opened i have no chance to type anything.
Just the white blinkin cursor, what is wrong?

I use Rescokeyboard and it works fine, exept of PockeTTY any Idea?

Thanks

Find bugs
beta11 was faster then beta12.
Some programm, what needed CF1, doesnt work correctly.
When I look big inet sites with a lot of grafic over GPRS, PIE close and GPRS disconnect. PIE doesnt work without reboot. Opera & NetFront work OK.
WiFi Retina scaner doesnt work. It message "close wifi config program and try again".
The unknown apps borrow memory, i.e after reboot - 23 Mb free, 2-3 hours ago only 18-19.

sorry for my bad english.

Ivan,

Like many others I also find the Cyberon 1.6 voice command software useless in the car. It doesn't recognize your voice over the road noise for love nor money. In actual fact the MS voice command 1.5 was the only voice controller that has ever worked properly! Is there nothing you can do to tickle this application to work with AKU 3.2??

While on 3.2, I am an experienced upgrader and still don't ultimately see the big difference between 3.2 and the current ROM release 107 from O2, besides some nicer icons.

Admittedly I havn't tried push email yet but why do we need 3.2 over the current AKU in a few words?

If it is important and we benefit I suppose I will continue regardless but I find MS voice command fantastic & I miss the press / press & hold funtionality of the voice recorder button. (I last used your beta 9 version)

I hope you can reply to this one...

Is this just happening to me. I believe the signal strenght of the bluetooth has diminished with beta 13. While using beta 10 I had no issues within a reasonable distance or even putting my exec in my pocket. With beta 13 it works, but not as good as beta 10. Get intermitent skips.

one of the main reasons I have for upgrading to AKU 3.2 is I understood that WPA2 was supported from 3.0 onwards - is that not the case?

Other than that Beta13 seems to be working for me.

@Avensis:

If you have read the full thread (which I presume you would have seen as it is on the first message above the links to download) you would find that Ivan has already provided very useful links for everyone:

If you have questions what AKU is about, read this:

I must be wrong about my builds conclusion, since I've checked on a real TyTn and this newer device really uses CVSD 1.1 build 060503, while former HTC devices/ROMs like Universal AKU2.0 use build 507271.
Lets assume the 060503 is more recent.

Meanwhile analysed 'The Sky Heart' and Ivan's CSVD_1.1_Alpha1 cabs and made some further corrections in Registry keys:
- Record button activation runs again
- Required link files are installed by cab, at proper places
- Record button displays a proper icon like at official ROMs

Download CVSD 1.1 build 060503 bellow:

I am no techie, just a user who has followed this thread and Ivan's work with interest and gratitude. Looking at other forums and blogs on the net, there are many references to getting MS Voice Command to work effectively on WM5. They refer as most readers will be aware to AKU 2.0, not to Ivan's more recent work.

This thread: http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showthread.php?t=134504 provides a fix to the blank contacts bug in AKU 2. That involves downloading and installing the *(96).dll application extensions that are part of the OZvga install that are found here: http://www.box.net/public/ovzovir8ii#main

This is where I have got to so far:

Following copying these .dlls to the Windows folder; install MSVC 1.5. The software will report a run failure as it defaults to the .html instructions page. Go to the settings/personal page, select MSVC, deselect Contacts and Phone, check enable and click OK. Software loads and provides the expected voice command functions for Calendar, Media, Start Menu & Status. Selecting either Contacts or Phone disables the software, at least it does on my install.

So over to you guys with the big brains. With the *(96).dll install MSVC runs on Ivan's AKU 3.2 but the Contacts & Phone functions will not.

HTC Universal, OS 5.1.342 (Build 15605.3.2.0)

I want in MS Voice Command, that MSVC read the Contact name when sombody call me, so i don't have to turn the display on.

Does it works? Beacause you told that the Phone & Contact functions will not work. I don't know if the option that i miss, will work after your Tutorial.

Hi,

I'm going to upgrade to this new rom, to test if the BB software works with it, but i'm still a bit of a newbie really, are all the roms in this pack, i.e. Rom, mobile and extrom ?

I currently have:
ROM version: 1.30.107
Radio 1.09
ExtROM: 1.30.162 WWE

Which I installed from ftp://xda@ftp.xda-developers.com/Uploads/Universal/O2BlckberryworkingROM/

and it all looks pretty similar.

Can I downgrade back to this if I get any major problems, or is this a one way street?

What versions do I have once I'm finished?

Thanks for any tips/gotchas and I let you know how the BB software holds up.

Hi,

I've just recently upgraded to Ivan's roms. It's been very long overdue...

Overall, very impressed with it, 2 things I have noticed however, and they may be related to my back-up/restores... but i'll let you guys tell me:

1. MMS editor: Can't find it anywhere. - I did upgraded my emails using sprite 5.1 from the old OS I think aku 1.5 or so.. So maybe it mite be conflicting with something, or maybe i'm just stupid and can't find the MMS editor.

Either way, would like someone to confirm MMS works in the beta14.

2. Contacts - I'm almost positive, I screwed this one, I pretty much imported my contacts using sprite to restore my personal database, and now every time i hit contacts it just disapears straight away.

Again although I'm fairly positive, it's an incompatiability I created because of the restoration from an older OS, I would appreciate it, if someone could confirm it works in the newest beta.

Ivan,

I have Loaded beta 14. Last beta used was 9. Renamed ivanrun.exe as instructed. I noticed in the config.txt file reference to Extended_ROM yet when I unhide mine it is ExtendedROM without the "_"?

Anyway ivanrun.exe triggers but nothing loads. It just goes through the quick progress bar and that's it.

Also tried renaming config to cfg & also tried putting the "_" back in the config.txt cab lines but the cabs still don't load. Any suggestions? The last beta I used was 9 and the ExtendedROM loaded fine.

I have attached my config.txt file for your review.

Since Beta14 the function symbols (? * etc.) don't work anymore.
They seem to be twisted. Beta13 works great.

Can anyone test it?

It works fine here.

OK.. I can confirm, after a hard-reset and double check, that all the above errors were caused by myself, and were all due to the "restoration" using sprite of old data..

Now I come to the big question: What is the best way to back-up and recover data for an ugrade.

I know contacts are easy with ActiveSync, but more importantly for myself at least, is SMS...

I really want to be able to keep them, and i'd also love to take care of this tonite, so if anyone could offer me some help, it would really be appreciated.

Bing123,

'MS Voice Command 1.5' is a commercial application that you can buy for instance at Handango or PocketGear.
If you want to look for it at other sources, is up to you, and not a subject for this forum.

First of all, great rom, really like it. Cured many problems I had, but created one more.

Second of all, is anyone else experiencing random resets?

I was using beta 13 over the weekend and on Sunday night the phone turned off on me. I pressed the power button and it looked like it was coming on as if from a soft reset. It got as far as the push email screen and then turned off again. Even after a hard reset got the same issue. What seemed to fix it was plugging in the power, then I was ok again. Battery was only down as far as 45% though.

Now running beta 14 and experienced the same thing on the tube on the way home tonight. I was just using pocket informant and the screen fades out and the device turns off. Reset and gets as far as push email and turns off again. Did a hard reset and managed to get going again. But just before my spb backup finished it turned off again! Had to wait till I got home, plugged in and everything seems ok again. Battery was down to 59% this time.

Never experienced this on any other rom before, used to run qtek.

Any ideas?

Many Thanks

Richie,

to me it seems your battery is reaching EoL.
It starts to happen suddenly, and many others experienced the same in this Forum. Initially most think it has to do with ROM upgrades, as they upgrade often, but in fact it isn't.
Try an old ROM, and I believe you will observe the same phenomena.

I've replaced my battery and it turned better, as I was getting such power-offs at increasing battery, % very fast.

However I still suspect from my experience and other posts that might be something wrong with Universal in general. One of these days (before warranty expires), I think I'll take it to service center and try to ask for a repair...

Yes, I have with all these AKU 3.2 updates. I was getting power-offs when battery was at 80%. My Jasjar is nearly 12 months old so I suspected the battery also. I ordered a new battery and since installing it over a week a go, I have not experienced the problem since.

The clue for me was that it would not reboot successfully without powering off again before the Today Screen displayed unless I gave it a rest for 30 minutes or more. The second clue was once I plugged it into external power, it would reboot without a problem...

Thanks for all these updates. I just flashed beta 14 and it runs very smooth for me. One thing though i noticed since beta 13 is that when i connect my exec via wifi or via cable to active sync that it cannot open up webpages yet it is able to open up a new ip address and connect. It just gets stuck at locating then it says the connection has been stopped. Any ideas on it?

Thanks for the info. It does look like a battery problem but seems to be a big coincidence that a few people have experienced this on upgrading to AKU3.2.

Hi,

I'm testing beta 14, and it's all ok, until now. I find this rom very fast and reliable.

But... when I connect to my mobile operator network, and I'm sure that the conection is 3G/UMTS, there is a small G (for 2G/GPRS connections), above the bar graphic, and a big U, on the left side.

Is this a bug, or a "feature"? Or am I missing something?

EDIT: And, more important, in the same day I upgraded the ROM, my jasjar turns itself off at around 35% of battery, and refuses to come back on, just goes into soft reset mode, and never gets to the end of it.

Before the upgrad, my jasjar could always get to bellow 10%, disconnecting the SD card, wifi and bt, but allowing me to continue working with the device.

Thanks in advance

Are we likely to see any official AKU3.2 roms from the big suppliers (O2, i-Mate etc.) for the Universal or is this phone now seen as End Of Life.

If nothing official looks like coming, I might take the plunge with one of the Beta rom's doing the rounds.

TIA

I took the plunge precisely because I think that the Operators et. al, have considered the Uni EOL and therefore won't be coming out with official AKU3 ROMs the last ROM we got is AKU2.

The U and G icons are sort a unsolved bug or "feature" that exists since the very first version of this rom.

Hopefully someone finds the reason for it someday, or we have to live with it.

I agree, it seems unlikely that the operators will release a major update for the Universal & with the odd issue the AKU3.2 we are all using is so much better than what the device shipped with it is worth going for.

I don't think that the level of reliability is any worse with the beta software & given the extra features & speed it is well worth it.

Ivan, u r going great job for us, really :)

But there are some minor issues, which will be fine to fix it possible:

1. to put the date in long format (dddd, mm/dd/yyyy) in one line instead of two line. This will help to save space on today screen for smth more important, then week day, occupying the whole string :)

2. to make the battery icon in down tray changint it status more accurate, like it was in 1.13, where it was not 4 bars, but much more.

3. I do believe, that our gadgets are really sofisticated and they can play mp3 sound on SMS. It looks redicilious, that it's necessary to convert mp3 to wav.

Thx in advance :)

However, lately for some trange reasons, after some long idle time (e.g. overnight recharge), when I turn it on, it is a blank white screen and requires a reset. Don't remember this problem with the earlier roms.

Ok this week no upgrade, but i have another thing.

Some people asked me about the language in the rom. As i do not have resources for different languages i will not make a translation of the rom.

Now there are 3 options for you out there longing for another language:

1. Throw away the rom and go for another rom with another language. (too bad i think)

2. Doing a translation in your favourite language, improving it and using it personal. (not bad, but where is the use for others ?)

3. Translating and giving away the stuff for others who want to use different languages. (Very good i will help as far as i can.)

So if you choose option 3 and have already a (almost) complete translated which is (almost) bugfree and you can sum up the changes (like: this files, this regsettings, Here is the zip(or rar) file with all necessary changes) I will add it into the next rom release to have a different language version.

I try to get a complete overview of what is needed to change the language, and publish a list, or something to assist you in making different languages.

Hi guys, I'm sure my question is answered somewhere, but some of these threads are HUGE, so my apologies for not finding it...

I have an Orange SPV M5000 with Radio 1.09.00 and WWE 1.30.90. It's really slow updating when I swivel the screen, which means if its plugged into my USB lead sat on my desk and I get a call, I usually miss it by the time it's redrawn in portrait :(

So, I'm looking on this forum for something that will make it faster and I see this is the latest and best ROM for me to use? I download beta 14, but I get the country code error. The readme says to copy everything and run 'MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe' instead. I do this, the devide reboots and then I get a 101 connection error. Now I try and run the original exe and it tells me files are corrupt (I guess as I copied over the other dll files?)

So... what did I do wrong, and what do I need to do to get my phone working quicker?!?!?!?

Thanks for any help.

Hi guys,
I have been using Uni for almost a year. The most annoying thing about Uni is I always missed a call whenever someone calls me. The reason is, the uni only starts rings after 4-5 seconds after the caller dialed my number. By the time I want to accept the call, the caller has already hung up.

I have tried to search through the forums but couldnt find any posts regarding this issue. (Maybe I never look hard enough). So I post it here since there are so many senior Uni user here and someone might give some ideas how to resolve it.

Thanks in advance.

Hi guys,
I have been using Uni for almost a year.

Add/modify the following registry key, it will reduce the (3 sec) delay and allow you to "call the ringer" instantly. Do a soft-reset after the action.

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Sounds\RingTone0]
"Script"="apr"

Ivan's beta 14, AS 4.5 beta - works fine :)

The only thing - it's necessary to add a key in the registry on BB

The registry key please...

Hi all,

I tried upgrade my rom to beta14 bu i get the error belowed;
"Error 120: country id error"

-I upgraded my bootloader version to 1.01,
-I tried to use MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe and ROMUpgradeUt.exe

But still i get the same error.

maupgradeut_noid_602.exe is works fine but i couldn't expanded files (*.nbf) and i don't know the three *.nbf is enough to upgrade (do i need to change other files like RUU.dll, UI.dll , .. )

Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

hi there
I've had a universal almost a year
and managed toupgrade in the past with no difficulty
however:

I've had no end of trouble with M5000 and beta 14
on initial attempt
got country ID error
used MaUp...noID etc
then got error 150
device was stuck on orange boot screen
managed to get it into bootloader screen,
loaded beta 14 and cold reboot but
gets stuck on loading
after 02 boot screen it goes to
green "direct push technology"
then blue task bar appears
saying "select" and "enter"
both are unresponsive and
stops here: green screen blue taskbar

some help would be greatly appreciated

Ivan, I'm spanish, I don´t have got much free time, but i can try to help with spanish translation, but....

I don´t know how to edit the UI, files, etc... :(

Hello Ivan and all of you!

Bugreports to beta14:

- Wi-Fi issues persist: after every standby device connects to Wi-Fi hotspot (D-Link G604T) only after second attempt; all I can add is that I use WPA PSK encryption and that the same issues exist in Jwrightmcps ROM;
- Comm Manager hangs if you try to close it with "Magic Button" (when tapping to "X" actually closes program); then you can press "End call" button to unhang your device;
- this ROM doesn't remember last onscreen keyboard; after reboot it switches to standard keyboard;
- amount of free memory seems to be less than in beta8 (?); is it because of increased 6-mb paging pool? also it seems to be less than in Jwrightmcps ROM;

P.S. the performance of booting and working is good!

- Comm Manager really hangs and I suppose there is a memory leakage because my PPC slows after I close it.
- You are absolutely right for the onscreen keyboard, I have the same problem. Even strangely sometimes I cannot change the SIP.
- It's sure that memory reduced bacause of 6mb paging pool. I reduced my paging pool to 4mb and main memory increased.

Hi, does anyone have a view on this ?

It is confusing as to why there are 2 "competing" AKU3.2 ROMs; I have been using Ivan's for many months & it has made my XDAs work much better. There is another ROM that others are raving about, are we looking here at 2 slightly different views of the same thing (ie: 3.2) or are there fundamental differences that ought to be consolidated for the sake of the Uni community ?

I must state that I am very happy with Ivan's ROM & his dedication.

I wouldn't have said that they are "competing". We're lucky to have a couple of bright and generous guys who are willing to put the work in for nothing but our thanks.

Both Ivan and Jwrighmcps have ROMs based on AKU 3.2 so they're bound to be pretty similar. JW's ROM is based on an i-mate ROM so has more i-mate goodies if you want them.

I've used both and I like them both: whichever one you finally choose is up to you. Personally I use JW's ROM but I had to turn off having a fixed-size WM5 cache as (at least on my Exec) it seems to up power consumption quite considerably.

They're both really fine efforts and I'm glad we've got such generous and talented chaps in the XDA Developers community!

Hi!

The simplest way is to download Tweaks 2k2 .NET (see http://www.tweaks2k2.com) and set/unset it there. You get the chance of using Tweaks 2k2 three times before you have to buy it - but I'd recommend buying it anyway if you like fiddling with your PPC's settings.

If you want to do it by hand I think the keys are:

HKLM / SYSTEM / STORAGEMANAGER / FATFS / Cache

HKLM / SYSTEM / STORAGEMANAGER / FILTERS / fsreplxfilt / ReplStoreCacheSize

HKLM / SYSTEM / STORAGEMANAGER / PROFILES / MSFLASH / FATFS / Cache

each of which is set to 0 for a variable cache and 8192 for a 2MB fixed cache.

I guess this means that you have a variable sized cache. This would chime in well with my experience that Ivan's ROM has better battery consumption that JW's.

Of course YMMV, so it's worth giving the 2MB fixed cache a try.

Regarding the Blackberry Service:

Unfortunately i do not have the possibility to use this service, because noone in my vincinity has access to it. Also it costs a certain amount of money, what means, that it costs a lot more money without the correct flatrate in your gsm contract. As i use a prepaid "contract" it is too expensive. I will try to fix it, but i cannot promise anything. There were some people who tried to help and offered me help in this issue. i will try to make a release and test this issue. if the relaease works, then i can hopefully fix it.

Ok thats it for now, more news later.

It may NOT be the ROM... I have the same issue. Changing to "Only Access Point" setting doesn't change a thing on my device. I had it with my previous ROM, and also have it now. I CANNOT connect (or when I connect, it disconnects when I try to load a webpage) with NEITHER SpeedTouch 580 NOR the LINKSYS WAG54G DSL routers...

I have ONLY managed to have a ---PeRfEcT--- WiFi connection with my D-Link Access Point.

Hi Ivan,
First of all, great effort with your ROM versions.

As regards Blackberry I can give the following information, at least for people with T-Mobile:
- I have tried several BB versions of the client. The only combination which definitely works with T-Mobile is the one given on their web site which is still a 1.20 ROM, (Pfui, Teufel! I hear you say). With the AKU 2.0 provided by the T-Mobile web site the BB software stops working.
- The problem with T-Mobile is also if you use their Prosumer solution (i.e. with their instantemail server and not an enterprise server) then you can only use their version because it requires an APN of mail.t-mobile.net instead of blackberry.net.
- The latest version I tried is 2.1.2.20 and this does not work.
- As far as I can tell this is because T-Mobile is blocking all other versions, because for a while I managed to get the 'working O2 version' on this ftp site to work, but only after a helpful t-Mobile support guy enabled me on blackberry.net for a week.
- Since then I have not been able to persuade T-Mobile to repeat the trick, because they say that a BB Client version release which supports at least AKU 2.0 is 'imminent'.

And that's what I can tell you all about BB.

Beta14 and Device Lock today-plugin locks device's screen from tapping to objects, but enables backlight (must don't do this). If I disable "enable backlight on tap or press key" so I loose backlight in normal operate mode (not locked).

Please check this bug, I need Device Lock for carrying device in portrait-mode frequently.

P.S. and more! In locked mode by "Device Lock" power button must enable backlight, not switch it off!

I agree completely. I have tried Ivan14 and jwrightmcps96. These ROMS have stability issues (freezing and soft reset required). I never had to do that with Ivan8.

Perhaps it miight be something to do with more RAM being allocted to page pool memory.

I am reverting to Ivan8 now.

I can honestly say that apart from the WiFi issue of not reconnecting after I turn the device back on this is still a good ROM. Yes, beta 8 was a little quicker, but I like the extra features 14 gives and a little speed sacrifice is well worth it in my opinion. As far as stability goes I have no issues. I haven't reset for about 2 weeks now, and I do use it heavily.

Conchas

Om the other way I believe Beta 14 to be the best stable ROM for UNI ever!!!
Honestly, never saw my device to behave with such remarkable stability before.
We also know that stability may depend also from the extra apps we have installed, but now I have also the core of apps I use or like to install.

Sure there are a few things that do not work, but most things people complain are working at others (I've checked several also), so it must have to do with effects from 3rd party installations or misconfiguration.
To have "almost" 100% features working we know we must inevitably wait for an official release, and some 3rd party programs to release update supporting compatibility to AKU3.2 (to address specific issues, some may have).

Never to late to say, THANKS IVAN or the great job. Your Rom reached a very stable performance and delivered and unprecedent quality and performance to our devices.
This is the ROM, I don't need to softreset often and where almost every thing works without issues (evolution of 3rd party programs have also contributed to achieve my satisfaction).

hello everyone,
i flashed my jasjar with ivan's beta14. however my experiences with it are not very good: the device boots faster and has some more new programs and options but in overall it's also quite unstable (as compared to O2's rom). i suspect the OS freezes once the memory gets low. the freezes come after approx. 8 hours of working with the device (working with appointments, tasks (i'm using latest Pocket Informant), sms, or syncing). is anyone else experiencing this (mis)behaviour as well?

Dear Ivan,

I just discovered the autorun bug in your 3.2 beta 14 rom. I was surprised when autorun was not working for ExtROM even though I renamed the autorun.exe to ivanrun.exe. Then I looked in registry and found that the folder entry for ExtROM is incorrect.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\StorageManager\Profiles\ TRUEFFS_DOC1]
"Folder"="Storage"

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm]
"AutoRunCFG"="\\Extended_ROM\\config.txt"
"AutoRun"="\\Extended_ROM\\ívanrun.exe"

The folder value for TRUEFFS_DOC1 should be "Extended_ROM" instead of "Storage".

Ok I upgraded my device to the beta 14

I must say, it runs perfectly so far

things I have noticed:

Pro's
-Boots up faster
-Device doesn't get stuck when signed into msn and it goes off (so far that is, my old roms had this prob)
-no hangs whatsoever so far.
-battery life with BT on has increased immensly (with the old roms I had to disable BT otherwise my device wouldn't last more then the day)
-pre-installed stuff like MCF 2.0

No real cons so far.
I flashed beta14, I didn't install anything like a autorun that I know off.

The only annoying thing is when I flashed the device my BT headset didn't work for voice dailing. I could press the button and it would just transfer the sound from the device to the headset. Fun, but not what I wanted.

I installed 2 voice dailing software packets (both from this forum). One is a 1.6 beta voice command with options to say play music and stuff. It was interesting, only it also transferred the sound to the headset and I had to switch it back through holding the button.
The other was a 1.5 voice speed dailing. Worked fine like the old one, only it opens Phone, the old one didn't use to :(

Software isntalled:

-Shozu Mobile
-Total Commander
-Anywhere Cyberon voice dailer
-Asukal MSN notify
-TT5
-BT tray icon (maybe something you want to have pre-installed on the rom)
-Cyberon voiceommander

The only thing I really really want would be to let the keyboard don't autoswitch off when the device is on external power.

That way in my car in the evening the keyboard would stay lit. It now turns off after 10 sec :(

-update- battery

I arrived at work around 9:00 am. The battery was full because it's charging while I drive, and I had MSN signed in and BT was on.

Now at 13:00pm
My battery is down to (only) 70%
So that's around 4 Hours working time with BT on, MSN signed in and email G3 (umts) checking every 5 min.
Not bad I must say. Ok so it would be completely emtpy after one whole day. But that is with a constant 3G connection and BT on.
My device is 3/4 year old, so my battery is not at its best.
