I still have this problem where i can place calls on my phone to other ppl but i can`t communicate with them. The calls are place and the person answer but theres no sound!
There was a thread in here about that and someone mention something about poking some switch within the earpiece socket. I think they said it was a hardware problem and there was some solution?
:(

Is the problem 100% of the time, or just now and then? There's a known issue with bluetooth on WM2003 Blue Angel that does that, but a reset fixes it.

i believe its a hardware problem, the poor phone has been flash quite a few times now.
I think i might have to find some tools and operate on it, i just need some guidance here

Ok, well the second most likely cause is a stuck switch. When you insert the headphones it breaks or makes a contact in the jack. This informs the phone that they are present. In older audio stuff these switches used to electrically re-route where the sound went but I believe that on the phone it's just a switch that the CPU can read and decide what to do with it.
It's possible that your switch has got stuck, this was a common problem on the very first SPV. You might be able to fix it by poking something into the jack but IMHO that could do far more harm than good. Stripping it down and actually seeing what the problem is and how to fix it would be better.

thanks man, the post i read, the guy was saying something about poking down in the microphone jack port but i couldn`t understand what he was poking at.
The speaker is working for sure but when in a call it goes silent which sounds logical if the ear piece jack was injected
U`ve certainly cleared it up for me, i just need to find some tools to open it and used caution when looking in it
Thaks again!
