I'm using Outlook on PC and sync this kind of info to my Tornado.

Much easier for using.

I too use outlook for Birthdays etc, but Xoddy (http://www.xoddy.com/) have a great little program (for PDA only :() which I hope they will eventually compile for smartphone too .

I too was using outlook but now recently I came across a website that gives reminder services and great gifting ideas. It is forgetmeneversolutions (http://forgetmeneversolutions.com/) . It works really great.
