Understanding and Creating .cab files.

Is there anyone who can help me with .cab files.
Ik extracted some form my extended rom and some have strange file-names. I would like to know what is is the cab file.

There must be a tool te read and create cab files.

Please someone help.

Ik looks very nice. I think I can finally cook my own .cabs for my personal Extended Rom.

I've read somewhere that Visual Studio 2005 is capable of creating (and editing) .cab files for Mobile devices.

Can someone confirm this?

I'm download VS2k5 now to try this.

I think I can finally cook my own .cabs for my personal Extended Rom.Maybe I'm wrong, but I think that MSCEInf is only able to read the .cab files not to create one...

For Anyone who would want one.
I made and empty Extended rom.
All it does is reset the device once.

If you load the ext rom unlocker, you can fill the ext rom with you own tools.
