Hi,

I have searched the forum but havent been able to find anyone else with this same problem.

My call history doesnt seem to automatically clear itself. No matter whether I change the settings to 1 week, 1 month or whatever.

Have any of you had the same problem?

I have cleared it but it seems to not automatically clear itself after that...

Hi,

Mine doesnt either.

Did find out that the call history is stored in the pim.vol in the root directory.

Which version of the ROM are you using?

I have the ORANGE ROM

ROM: 1.30.90 WWE
Radio: 1.09.00



Do other Orage users running this version of the ROM have the same issue too?

Hi,

Still havent plucked up the courage to upgrade the ROM yet, so am still on:

ROM: 1.13.49
RADIO: 1.03.00

I used to have this same problem. I solved it by backup my device using spb backup, because this problem is because of the pim. Then I hard reset the device. and then just restore all the files but PIM. So do not restore the pim. And the call history will work normally again.

Is there no other way to manually modify or refresh the pim.vol file?

What else is stored in the pim.vol file?

i too have this same prob as i m using imate jasjar and have tried this with three diffrent roms even one from the official imate site but still it does not clears out on its own ne new leads on this coz i think as the list grows up it uses the memory space .

With SK Tools you can Purge or Compact the call history.:)

Sk Tools is not free though :o

Phone->Call History->Menu->Call Timers

Delete call history items older than: <<1 Week>>

<<>> is a drop down list and 1 week is the shortest period that you can keep.

Is this what you are talking about?

Yes that's what he is talking about. But when you choose a setting e.g. 1 week it will not clear itself. That is the problem he mentioned.
