WM5 for Vodafone v1620 (Blue Angel)

Hi all
I have been attempting to update a Vodafone branded Blue Angel (v1620) without success, the ROM images I have tried all state the oncorrect Model ID. I have searched the forums for Vodafone, v1620 etc to no avail.

I have also tried using the QTek 9090 Rom but also doesnt work

Any ideas would be most appreciated,.

Hi there,
I've done the update procedure without any problems. I've used most of the WM5 Roms out here.

I'll post my xda3nbftool batch file, which makes all WM5 roms compatible with PH20B2. (can't do it cos i'm writing from ba)

Hi, im also trying to upgrade my PH20B2 to wm5.

where do i put your batch file, cos all im getting is file not found!!

Have U tried using MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe (copy all files from PH20B1 folder to directory where nk.nbf file is - Helmi's)?
Cos this works for me, without any editing of rom image.

Thanks for the info. My VPx works with the MaUgrade and this time I did not lose my camera function.

So far, it looks really good.
