Q: Wizard = T-Mobile MDA Vario

Hi,

I am new to this great site and have "enjoyed" upgrading phones in the past, well a few years back. Things such as Samsung's with much better Chinese roms then the UK ones etc.

Can anyone confirm the following pls?

1. Is the T-Mobile MDA Vario the same as the Wizard that is described here?

2. Can I backup my ROM before I upgrade? If not, is there a place I can get the official T-Mobile one?

3. Are there any UK users here with a T-Mobile MDA Vario that have sucessfully upgraded their roms, and if so what ones are they using?

2. you can; you, however, may already find official ROM distros / backups here (dunno, haven't checked it)
3. I'm pretty sure that's the case.

(Make sure you don't try to install a non-G4-compliant ROM on a G4 device though!)
