2.26 image ROM..HELP US!!

I'm not sure if this will work and unfortunately I really have the time to research this. I believe that the bottom line is that if you foolishly flash a G4 device with a G3 IPL/SPL you're screwed. Sorry!

I have "bricked my G3 phone phone and my USB wouldn't work.. wouldn't get past the initial splash screen... actually only showed the IPL and SPL with no OS or GSM. I tried without success to reflash but it wasn't recognized.....

Thanks for the info guys, but my phone actually works but using the beta 3.2 OS. I wanted to downgrade to 2.6 but I think it my usb connection might have been messed up (not sure) by the 3.2 rom. What do u think?

Hasn't happened to me and trust me I doubt if many people flash or hard reset their phones as much as me, but the exception of a few :) I've run every ROM available here along with a few custom ROM's that aren't and haven't even had a USB issue. When in doubt I downgrade yto the 1.05, twice if all the versions don't go to 1.xx and then back up to what I want. And sometimes one needs to flash a ROM twice, odd I know but I've seen it happen.

tried to flash it with this custom 1.05 rom but says connection of phone not detected, tried it 5x to no avail. Any advice? Can someone let me try an sd backup image of 2.26. Need help. Thanks
