View Full Version : Power/Audio adapter?

I'm planning to buy a TyTn when it's released on Cingular, and the one big concern for me is the proprietary connector for charging/audio. I use my phone to play MP3s and such on my car stereo, and I have yet to find an audio adapter that will allow me to simultaneously charge my phone.
Is there such an adapter available? I realize that I can make an audio adapter fairly easily, but the capability to do both at the same time is really what I'll need.
Thanks!

... Any of you guys want me to do the process for you? As long as you pay postage plus 89p for the connector I'd be glad to do it for you. ...
That's the best available at present

Same y product on us site
http://www.mobileplanet.com/product.asp?code=140425
Still only pre-order as of today
So this would allow both power and headset, but I really would like an adpater with power and 3 1/2 normal audio plug so i could charge and plug the audio into my car stereo,,
I guess we could buy the y adapter and then make the audio as the link suggests, but i would rather buy the completed audio adapter rather than trying to make one..
Oh well, maybe someone will sell them someday.....

Thanks! That's what I was looking for. Not ideal since I'd still need to make an adapter, but better than not having anything at all. I'm sure it's just a matter of time before they come out with an all-in-one solution :D
