ROM cookbook

Hi

Is there somewhere i can read up, or could someone explain how to "cook" your own ROM? Is this very complicated?

I want to build a ROM from the 2.17.7.1 SVE ROM (http://www.smartmobile.se/item.aspx?id=635 ) and add latest AKU updates and a2dp updates to it togheter with some good apps, such as TotalCommander,TCPMP,swe keyboard fix, etc.

I too would like this, from any HTC kings out there. I own a Scoter, and we don't have to work w/ nbf/nba files. We do however want to decompile your roms, and steal what we can :). At this point I'm trying to hunt down the password or offset to use w/ nbftools. For that matter I'm not entirly sure if i need xda2nbftool or xda3nbftool.
