USB disconnects during upgrade process

Hello,

I connect my phone to computer, ActiveSync works fine. I run upgrade executable, all goes fine. it stops at 0%, device resets itself to rainbow window (I guess boot loader) and upgrade fails. I reset device and it works fine but upgrade do not go through.
How do I fix that?

is your devide CID unlocked?

NOt sure what CID unlocked means but it's unlocked to any carrier. It was bought unlocked in Russia as Qtek device and I have current CIngular ROM version on it.

Nevermind, I actually had to wait on rainbow screen for update to start I thought devices was foo-bared when it was not.
