Hi all,
What are the differences between the different WM5 releases (Helmi, Logout, Midgets, TuMa, ArtZ IVAN)?
I'm new with the WM5 for BA, and I'm not sure what image/version should I use.
Thanks

Hi,
As I see Helmi's should be the best release (even though I don't know why).
So what are the differences between 2.6 and 3.2 releases?
Is only bug fixes and patches?
Thanks

Helmis releases are the most new ones, so i advice you to use them, or if you are experienced you can try to build custom rom using bepe's wm5 kitchen

they are identical in terms of bug fixes etc, the only difference is the core OS portion of the ROM. AKU 3.2 is the newest and contains a few new features but the PIM management is different and programs like MS voice command and PIM management apps dont work, this is why the AKU 2.6 was made, for compatability with these apps.

Helmi's are the most recent and incorperate some recent revelations by the folks here that have greatly improved the performance of the phone. You picked a good time to drop in... ;)
2.6 and 3.2 refer to the actual internal revision of windows mobile 5. Think of them as service packs. 3.2 is newer and in theory should have less bugs*, but there are incompatibilities with some software such as one of the voice commanders.
* I work in software and even I am laughing at my own statement!
