Hi there,
Can anyone advice how to gonfigure the GPRS settings in my Alpine (XDA-IIi), I am using "Pay as you go" on O2, I have also called the O2 helpdesk for help and they have given me some setting, I have applied those but didn't work, I have called again and they excused that they know the GPRS settings for CONTRACT not for PAYG.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Sidd

Hi,
Please find attached the cab file(take out of zip file before copy) copy to your pda and click to install 02 PAYG SMS, MMS and GPRS automatically.

For other people with different UK carriers, see this link scroll through and you will see the files there.

Its best to delete any GPRS settings before install of the cab, if you can, although not always essential. DAz

Hi Sidd
I had a similar experience with O2 and may XDA IIi. In short, I do not think that you can get GPRS working under PAYG.
I tried all sorts of setting, tweaks and twiddles but I could never get it working.
Thanks

First-of-all many thanks to DAZ as he/she has posted the settings.
Yes Mark you are right DAZ has given one setting just above, I have tried that, everything went fine during installation, but unfortunately the XDA is not getting any data through the GPRS, and I think the O2 was right that there isn't any possibility to use GPRS on PAYG on O2.
Thanks anyway for your concern, and please update me if you got anything in future.
Thanks
Sidd
