mms I can't get working currently.
A network error (0x150) has occurred.
First things does anyone know where the automatic settings are linked too?
They must link back to a file in the registry or maybe in the windows file.
manual settings I have tried (same settings that work on my tytn still no luck)
The menu settings are different to the ones on my TyTN.
Menu,Options,Advanced
auto / manual
select manual then edit
If anyone gets it working on tmobile please post.
Thanks
speed tests are fantastic currently getting 1.1 megabits per second.

Guys Paul at Modaco sent me this . Its from the registery I guess the Vodafone part is hard set into the registry.
I have tried this and it doesn't work . If I open it with Notepad the Tmobile settings seem wrong . Is it simply just entering the correct values and you are done?

Today just got an "unlocked" Treo 750v (Vodafone Version).
The MMS settings are buried in the registry. Cannot get to them via typical set up options.
There is no way I can replace Cingular MMS settings with Tmobile (My carrier).
If I go and make change manually, the changes do not take effect. The next time I reboot/restart phone these settings disappear.
I have found registry import files in different forums, but none seem to make change properly.
Any ideas?

Yea , it seems an issue and it does come from within the reg. I have to date no none fix . Maybe some of the other more techy guys could help on the other forums.

I received my unlocked Treo750v yesterday.
So far I have been successfull in getting everything working except MMS messages.
Currently, I have aquired what I believe to be all the necessary information in order to send T-Mobile USA MMSs:
Message Center Number: +12063130004
Email Center Number: 500
MMS Gateway address: 216.155.165.050
MMS URL: http://216.155.165.050/servlets/mms
Network Profile: Default
Some people have stated they were unable to get these settings to stay after restarting their phone. I am not experiencing that problem. The closest I can get to reproducing that error is that when i turn off the cell capabilities, the Message Center Number disappears. However the correct number reappears when I turn the cell functions back on.
I've taken a brief look at the reg file in T_Mobile_750v.zip

Where did you make the changes to these new settings?
Did you make the network settings as "Manual" and enter these manually, or change the registry with these settings?
Thanks

Setting, Connections, Connections
add a connection (You may have one if you using GPRS on tmobile)
if not enter a name for the connection i.e Tmobile GPRS
modem Cellular Line GPRS.3G)
Access point general.t-mobile.uk
username - user
password - one2one
Finish
Start, Messaging, Menu, Options, Advanced,
Click Manual then edit
Message center number should already be there
Email Center number (Blank)
MMS Gateway - 149.254.201.135:8080
MMS URL - http://mmsc.t-mobile.co.uk:8002
Network Profile - Tmobile GPRS
I use the same profile as my GPRS Internet but some people just add one under connections called Picture Messaging or something along them lines.
I took a look at the registry file and changed it and got everything working but when you restart the phone settings default to the original ones which cause message to stop send and receiving.
I also took some pictures of some speed tests as I am getting over 1mb speeds.
I am so happy with my Treo 750v it was a good buy everything that I want is now working. more pictures in my next post.

Wardy... not sure if your refer the settings immediately above your post, or my link which is above that one.
Paraphrasing the work from mrjazz in treocentral here is what he posted, and still works for my tmobile us.
1. Start, Settings, Connections, and then tap the Connections Icon
2. Under "My Work Network" tap Add a New Modem Connection
3. Name it Picture Messaging and under Select a modem select (GPRS,3G)
4. Under Access Point Name type: wap.voicestream.com
5. Username, Password, and Domain is left blank and then click Finish
6. Now, go into Proxy Settings and check "This network connects to the Internet" and check "This network uses a proxy server to connect to the internet"
7. Under the Proxy Server box type: 216.155.165.050
8. Tap the advanced button and tap on the HTTP line. Make sure the HTTP settings shows 216.155.165.050:8080. If not, change it.
9. Click the OK button a few times to get out of the settings completely.
10.Now go to Start, Messaging, Menu, then Options, Advance, then Click Manual, and then the Edit button
11. Message center number +12063130004
12. Email center number is 500
13. MMS gateway address is 216.155.165.050:8080
14. MMS URL is http://216.155.174.84/servlets/mms
15. Finally under Network Profile select: My Work Network and then click ok.
Hope this helps

1)Yes mms is included for the data side (receiving) of things but to send will cost can't remember the correct price think something like 25p per message.
2) I have done nothing just added settings and that is all my phone is flying downloading things i.e. mp3 songs via http is very quick. Just as quick as my TyTN and I don't have to refresh the page any more to locate a page like i did with my TyTN.
3)speed test Site http://www.bandwidthplace.com/speedtest/

Hi,
I have tried to get this working (unlocked 750v on T-Mobile) as below, but am hanging at 10% on send. The only difference is that I am using an existing connection with username t-mobile and blank password - this connection works fine for browsing/push e-mail/worldmate updates etc.
Could the failure be down to this ? I.E. it is necessary to use the user/one2one combination for MMS to work. Seems odd to me !
Any other ideas ? I have double checked for typos and cannot spot any !
Thanks
Pat

Hello guys
Please help! I've just got my Palm Treo 750v unlocked. The phone works fine on T-mobile but I can't get a GPRS connection. I've tried changing the settings and setting up a new t-mobile GPRS connection but i still can't get it connected.
I seem to have a wap contract connection (I presume this is preinstalled by Vodafone and must be Windows reg related) which always overides when i reboot the Palm.
If you can help I would be really grateful.

This is great, it follows exactly the available settings on the 750v. Now, if I could only get the right parameters for Rogers I would be able to get it working.
Thanks from Vancouver

I have a UK unlocked 750v with new WM6 ROM from vodafone TREO750-2.23VFU
I have the t-mobile unlimted internet plan on my US account but for some reason I have not been able to access the internet using IE.
I was able to use it several months back but I think a port was closed to prevent people from using unlocked phones on tmobile network.
Anyone have any ideas or know the correct settings to enable my 750v with WM6?
