MAC VS XP

Hi I am looking at getting a Macbook and I was wondering what they are like? Also is there a better laptop for the same money? I am also looking at the Sony UX180p, OQO 01+ and Sumsung Q1. What one do you think I should get?

if you get a macbook with an intel due 2 core cpu you can just dual boot between xp and macosX

although the macbook scratches easily. not unless you get a macbook pro.
