It works on all the models of HTC Universal. The installation of the rom cancels all the previous programs installs to you.

It work fine on v1640. I try the i-mate rom too and i find in i-mate rom the option for bt mouse. In this rom i can't find.

If you wanna you can update
The steps you wrote are right: remove sim and sd, Hr (is always better), full battery charge, connect via usb, run upgrade, remove cable, Soft Reset and go!

Is similar of Ivan's rom beta 14, translated in Italian and optimized.

No important bugs.

Remember to apply the patch posted on first post too.

After upgrade use Hard reset

After installation you make a hard reset
If you have problems you can installed the previous rom

I not sure about that, but this rom it's for all Univeral device (like wrote in previus page).


Remaind: apply the fixup otherwise the wireless today skin doesn't work properly.

ok, i managed to make it work and it looks brilliant.
The only (big) problem is that WiFi works very bad (or better, doesn't work at all).

it detects correctly the hot spots but doesn't allow you to correctly configure the connection:

for example, on my home wifi (wich is WEP, 64bit share key), when it detects it it asks me for the key. But it doesn't allow me to configure it as shared. Going in the connection/WiFi parameters it doesn't allow me to modify/configure it.

Also, if you go in the "Schede di Rete" (or the voice that substitutes it in AKU3.2), doing an "aggiungi nuova", in the next screen there isn't the "Add" or "Ok", only "Annulla" is there.

You put the PPC in BootLoader (Backlight+Reset+Power) and use UpgradeUt.exe in the RAR, it is a noid tool.

Ok, now wifi works correctly.

New problem: looks like it takes too much time to see the SD.
Spb PocketPlus can't "build" the icons of the programs installed on the SD.
Spb Diary, when called (it's on the sd) ask to insert the sd, and after one seconds it starts working.

The SD is ok.

Has anyone been able to make TomTom6 work with this firmware?
It starts but can't get a gps fix from the BT gps.

(It worked [badly, but it worked] with the original QTek aku2 roms).

Upgraded my Xda Exec and seems to work fine... :)

the only thing i cannot fix is that i see the contacts 2 times in the contacts list (one is the Pda contact and one is the Sim contact...i can't find the way to "filter" and see just the Pda contacts, while with the original Rom i could).

Any idea for a solution about this matter...???

...another little issue: every time i soft reset my Exec (yes...sometimes it freezes and i need to soft reset it) it automatically sets the time-zone of GMT-8 PACIFIC COAST USA...while i need the GMT+1 BERLIN-ROME...and if i change it the appontments in the calendar go a little crazy...! Even if i change......after a little time it automatically foes back to the GMT-8 PACIFIC COAST USA time...... =(

Do i have to change something in the registry or stuff like that? Any idea about how i can fix this problem?
