My good contact at HTC states today I will only be able to buy it in Asia from December, and it will not sport a GPS chip (what an ommission). Of course I would want the all white version, look more stylish and luxurious...at that price!

According to my contact at HTC, there will be two PDAs with the HTC Prophet/Trinity form factor, but the one with more features than the Trinity - will only be released in the spring of 2007. Early adopters will love their Trinity - but miss out on GPS, AKU 3.0, an improved processor and a higher resolution camera. With my Tytn here now, I can wait...

If as per the above post 3.0 is included this would be a step in the right direction, but GPS, USB host and high resolution cam will be added later. You know the game, version I, II etc. And WM 6.0 (Crossbow) will also help sell almost identical plattforms further down the road...

As we early adopters know it is never advisable to get the 1st batch of anything, just too many bugs. Depends what one has now. A Tytn in hands is better than a half baked 2007 model, with important 2007 features (GPS, USB host, Wibro, VoIP in ROM etc.) missing.

Hi to all, maybe you know me from Universal, Prophet and other forums. I'm from Spain and I'm very interesting to buy this device. I was making some question in a couple and reputed sellers and they told me the device in spain come at the end of novevember or in the begining of December. About the price, I saw many one, but around 550,00 € bat included.

Expansys Spain told they are going to have the device just in grey color, ohhhhh! like many users, we are waiting for the white one.

France Telecom says they will offer the white Trinity as the Orange SPV M700 soon. I hope HTC will not reserve a different color for each provider, since FT Orange has no presence in German market. FT was hoping to offer the Trinity with internal GPS for their new Navigation/LBS service, but incompatibility between GPS and Qualcomm chips in the phone will not let this happen for the early adopters...

hmm seems like Dopod is offering the black colored Trinity for the asia launch, such a turn off if so as i really hope to get the device in white...

regarding the GPS issue i believe not many will utilise the GPS function so maybe those who don't will go for the earlier batch while those who requires will wait a while more

Black colour seems like my Prophet, is almost the same. The white colour looks different than others device, I mean more elegant. Probably like the white PSP colour.

Good news (for me :))) ). HTC will sell the Trinity under its own brand in Germany, in WHITE, for around 510 euros (which would be just 40 less than the Tytn). Sellers received delivery dates as early as November 22, but I think December is more realistic...

Yes the Spanish speakers they can buy one in Spanish language. But i prefer the English version. Why? the Rom version an so on, always is a step ahead.

I bouth one a couple minuts ago in a Portuguese Web and the OS is in English, and black color.
