Hello,
im having big problems to change my xda neo to fit my to vodafone, to debraned (sorry im germany i mean to remove the branding?) and to change the extended ROM.
Here all infos of what i have done so far
I just did a hardreset pushing the cam and com button and pressing the Reset "button". On the Screen where i am asked to push the send key i just pushed the green button and then i did a soft reset pushing the reset "button" again when there comes the message " .. will be configured in 3 seconds ..." (sorry i dont know the english message as i use a german device.
As far as i know that should have debranded (removed the branding) from my device and as far as i can see there is no o2 software on it (for example the homezone tool etc is not installed)
I have tried to unlock the ROM with this tool

but the only thing that seems to work is to unhide the rom (anyway i can only see it in the total commander not the file explorer)
When i try to unlock it i get the message
ERROR:
FL_IOCTL_BDTL_HW_PROTECTION - Der Parameter ist ungültig
But i am not able to delete or edit the Files in the ROM. I mean i can delete all files but after a reset all the files are still in there as they were, not edited, not deleted.
AS anyone an idea how can i edit my ROm to suit my german (!) vodafone needings? Maybe someone knows how to edit it so it installs some extra tools too?
Does anyone know for what these cabs stand for?
