Hello to all, just curious to know if anyone knew how to keep the Excalibur overclocked after it wakes up from stanby (back light goes off). Is there a similar program like MemMaid for PPCs to keep the device overclocked after waking up from standby. Appreciate any help, thanks.

Tornado PowerControl

Made by me... it's for Tornado phones, but works fine on this phone. It requires compact framework 2.0 on the phone or storage card (plenty of free space for it in phone memory).
It also has an AutoCPU setting to adjust the cpu speed based on load, but that's a beta feature and doesn't work well when playing video.

How much does this affect the battery life of these Excaliburs? Right now mine lasts about 24 hours with moderate usage and 48 hours with light usage. Will this overclock force me to charge > 1 time per day with moderate usage? Thanks.

More Speed = More power. So yes your battery life will suffer. Unless of course you buy a high capacity battery (sbout 50.00 with new battery door).
