My friend has imate jam from T-mobile. The Rom is 1.13.xx and the camera quality is awsome compared to normal (mine) magician from HTC ROM 1.12.xx
If the camera quality is because of new ROM then please guide me to where i may find this new ROM. thank you.
otherwise, how may i get the same quality of camera. I am already using the patch supplied at this forum.

Frankly I think the Magician's camera is crap, no matter what ROM you're on :).
Also here's a very detailed guide for a 'complete' upgrade procedure: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=273911

Coolcamera is otherwise great, but has this distinct inability to focus on distant objects. For panoramas I had to revert to the old Camera app. Thankfully, this was during the day.
At least this version takes better pics under florescent light. <_<

Coolcamera is an unlimited trial program - trial version only cripples use of device as a webcam (25 seconds, autodisconnect). Camera otherwise works.
