Apps to Internal Memory or MiniSD Card?

Does installing apps to internal memory affect the speed of the device? Would you recommend installing all apps to the MiniSD card? My main concern is the speed of the device, I would like to optimize my Treo for speed and it feels like it's getting slower. I have all my apps installed in the internal memory.

Can someone please help with Pros & Cons?

Apps with a today plugin should be installed to main memory. Most others should be fine, but get as fast a card as possible (150x ones are quite cheap)
