transfer files over wifi FROM pc

Is there any way to mount a folder on the Hermes as a windows share so I could copy files from my PC using the PC interface? I know I can mount a shared folder on the device, but it's really fiddly. I know I can do this using activesync, but it's so slow compared to wifi.

The Windows Mobile platform has no active server capabilities.

There are FTP servers out there, but since you seem to be concerned about speed, the best way is probably to just use a card reader.

Thanks; I am concerned about speed, but also convenience, I'd like to be able to do it all witout extra junk to carry about!

warftpd is a solid and completely free FTP server.
Install that.

Then use Resco Explorer's FTP client.

I use it all the time.
