Hi there,

I have both a strange car hands free kit and a mtorcycle hemet hands free that have 2.5 mm jacks with 3 pins. When I connect them to my Wizard/K-Jam, I can hear OK, but the mic does not seem to work.
Can anyone tell me what the pin on the 4 section original correspond to and has anyone found a solution to this problem.

Cheers

Starting from the tip :
ring 1 and 2 = Audio R and L
ring 3 = mike
ring 4 = Ground

So if you are using a three ring pin instead of 4 , you're connecting the mike to the left audio...
The only solution I've found was to build my own hands free kit using a old nokia 2,5 jack , a mike, a tape adapter to use the radio loudspeakers
